ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS)

Woodcreations Compliance: We have programmes (defined by its management system) that control its operations, and services as they intersect with the environment in support of our policy commitment to environmental leadership, and that also confirms our compliance with applicable law, regulation and contractual requirements. The Woodcreations Code of Environmental management system is being reviewed currently and will be updated as soon as this is completed.

Our business faces many challenges and opportunities. Due to their direct impact on us and our stakeholders we have prioritised the following issues that need to be addressed: Water conservation, health and safety, financial solvency and security for our employees.

As we go about our business and evaluate our success we are able to choose every day in big and small ways how our actions and words build a better quality of life for our employees, clients, event participants and suppliers.

Objectives

We commit to:

1. Minimize environmental impacts in the areas of waste, water, energy and air quality.

eg: 322 768 kWh per annum energy use at office and factory: Reduce to under 315 312 kWh (2%) this year.

2. Give back to communities by volunteering and donating resources.

3. Ensure our supply chain has responsible social and environmental practices.

Reporting

• We will externally report on our progress against these goals once per year.

• Internal senior reviews will be held at least once per year.

• Management reviews will be conducted quarterly.


ENERGY CONSUMPTION MEASUREMENT AND WASTE MANAGEMENT

Woodcreations Compliance: Woodcreations has established an accurate baseline for usage in a 12-month period in order to address seasonal trending. The baseline period is defined as July 2015 to June 2016. Results against goals are as follows:


ENVIRONMENTAL GOALS

Woodcreations Compliance: Working off the baseline established in requirement of a, b& c. We have set at least one goal in each category. The goal measuring period is 12 months. Goals are determined in conjunction with our Company senior management, and follow the format below as an example only:

– Decrease amount of waste going to landfill by 85kg by y/e 2016>.

Woodcreations compliance: We will publicly disclose our goals and our progress against the goals by 31 December 2015. This will give us a meaningful comparison from initial figures. This information is publicly disclosed in an audited report.


PUBLIC DISCLOSURE

Woodcreations Compliance: We have publicly disclosed our goals and our progress against the goals as of June 30, 2015. This information is publicly disclosed in our audited reports.

Social and Environmental Commitment

At Woodcreations we are committed to conducting our business in a socially responsible and ethical manner. We recognize our responsibility to contribute positively to the community that supports us. We recycle as much as we can and are passionately committed to reducing our ecological footprint by being energy neutral. Our employees are one of our most important assets. We are proud to provide a work environment where employees are appreciated, valued and given regular feedback. We promote based on merits and skill and do not discriminate based on age, colour, creed or relationship orientation. Our company’s established Social and Environmental management system which helps to comply with applicable laws, regulations and customer requirements, satisfy our company requirements properly and achieve our environmental targets.

Our EMS defines requirements to reduce the environmental impact of our company. Our commitment to continual improvement led us to create our voluntary commitments to reduce our carbon footprint.

We conduct reviews of our environmental performance and progress, in order to create a cycle of continual improvement.

With regards to environment-related incidents and penalties we had no records of environmentally relevant incidents and had not been charged any penalties. And we had no records of industrial accidents.

We have not received any fines or penalties of a material nature. Should we ever receive any regulatory fines or penalties of a material nature, they will be publicly disclosed in our audited accounts.


EDUCATION

Woodcreations Compliance: Employees are trained on our EMS once they have been employed for six months. They receive training of our Ethical code of conduct, Health & Safety.


MANAGEMENT REVIEWS

Woodcreations Compliance: We have a committee that meets on annual basis. This committee reviews the progress of reduction initiatives against the EMS goals and ensures that we are compliant with our ethical code.

eg: Each department has a health and safety representative and they are trained in standard health and safety procedures and first aid


Suppliers/Subcontractors

Woodcreations Compliance: Our Company will notify all subcontractors who perform work or provide goods for us of all above requirements from 30 June 2015. We will notify the suppliers via email. Our company actively monitors compliance by auditing a selected number of suppliers annually.
